Edit legacy campaign details
This article covers the settings available in our legacy campaign editor. Check out the settings for Studio donation pages.
Campaign details include name, fundraising goal, and more, depending on the type of campaign. You can edit your campaign’s details anytime by going to the Details tab in the campaign settings.
To edit your campaign’s details:
- In your account menu, select Campaigns
- Find and select the campaign you want to edit
- Select Edit Campaign
- Select the Details tab
You’ll land on the About section, where you can edit the campaign name, fundraising goal, redirect URL, and more.
Campaign name
The campaign's public-facing name that appears on receipts, browser tabs, and the Supporter center.
Internal campaign names
The admin-facing name of the campaign. These names only appear in your account, so you can use them to stay organized while keeping your public campaign names on brand.
For example, if you want to test two different versions of a campaign. The public name for both campaigns could be the same, but you could use internal names to tell them apart.
Display currency
The display currency you choose will appear on your campaign's landing pages including your progress bar or progress circle.
Note: Multi-currency display is part of Passport (folded into GoFundMe Pay). On donation pages, GoFundMe Pro will predict the supporter’s native currency by checking the language settings of the supporter’s web browser.
Short URLs
A short or vanity URL is a shorter version of the web address. Short URLs are easier to share and can be visually appealing.
Standard URL:
https://www.classy.org/campaign/your-campaign/c1234567
Short URL:
https://classy.org/sample-short-url
Note: GoFundMe Pro has a few reserved short URLs you won't be able to use such as, campaign, fundraise, and give. For a full list of reserved short URLs, view our list.
Are short URLs the same as domain masking?
No, short URLs only shorten the length of your web address. Domain masking removes the word "GoFundMe Pro" from your web address.

Redirect URLs
When you unpublish a campaign, visitors are sent to the organization website listed in your account settings. To direct them elsewhere, like an updated campaign, add a redirect URL.
Campaign contact
A campaign contact gives supporters a way to reach you for questions. Once added, the contact information will appear in the footer on each page of your campaign and in emails.
To add a campaign contact:
- Open the campaign you want to edit
- Select the Details tab
- In the menu, select Campaign Contact
- Add the Email or Phone Number you want to use as contact information
Tip: To change the default email, go to your account’s Organization settings.
Corporate donations
Add a checkbox for donors to indicate that a donation is made on behalf of a corporation. When checked, the corporation’s name will appear on the receipt.
To turn on corporate donations:
- Open the campaign you want to edit
- Select the Details tab
- In the menu, select Donation Page
- Under Donate with a company credit card, select Yes
Donation matching
Donation matching occurs when a sponsor—company or individual—agrees to match your campaign donations for a specific time and/or up to a certain dollar amount. Add a sponsor to your campaigns to create a sense of urgency on your donation page and boost donation amounts.

Set and edit a theme
A theme lets you set and manage key design elements, such as the campaign logo, hero image, and primary color, that appear across your campaign pages.
Note: Global themes are available on ticketed, registration with fundraising, and donation page campaigns. You can still manage the appearance of other campaign types by editing the individual pages.
To edit the theme:
- Open the campaign you want to add a global theme to
- Select the Details tab and select Theme
Frequently asked questions
Does changing the display currency change the processing currency?
No, the currency that donations process in will depend on your payment processor. The processing currency will almost always be USD.
For example, you can use the Euro as your display currency. But if your payment processor is set up to process in USD, all donations will be converted to and process in USD. That means your organization will receive the donations in USD.
Can I process in currencies other than USD?
To process in a different currency, you’ll need to request International Currency Processing. Contact our Sales Team for more information.
If I set a display currency, does that mean supporters can only donate in that currency?
No, supporters can donate using any of the 130+ currencies supported by GoFundMe Pro. They have the option to choose their currency when making a donation or creating a fundraising page or team.
What do supporters see online?
Your display currency will appear on your campaign landing pages (on your progress bar or progress circle). On donation pages, GoFundMe Pro will predict the supporter’s native currency. This is done by checking the language settings of the supporter’s web browser.
For example, say your display currency is USD, and a supporter in Japan wants to make a donation. The supporter will see USD on your landing page, but when they get to your donation page, the amount will be listed in Japanese Yen.
Learn more about Passport (folded into GoFundMe Pay).
What do supporters see on their receipts?
Receipts will display the supporter’s chosen currency and amount along with the converted processing amount. For more information, view our receipting guide.
When I turn on corporate donations, does it affect all campaigns under one account?
In order to enable corporate donations for your campaigns, you must enable this feature in each campaign’s Donation Page settings.
What payment methods support Corporate Donations?
Currently, corporate donations are only available through credit card transactions.
What type of campaign is this feature available for?
You can turn on corporate donations on the donation page of any campaign type. This feature is not yet available for ticket purchases on event campaigns.
Does data on corporate donations sync to Salesforce?
Yes! With Salesforce integration Version 6.81 (or later), online corporate donations are tied to an Organization Account in Salesforce (not a Household Account) and to the Contact that submitted the gift. The name that will be used for the Organization Account is the name that was entered into the Company field.
