Create a Studio donation page

If this feature isn't available to you in GoFundMe Pro, contact our team to learn about adding it to your account.

Before you start

Check out our design checklist to help you launch a polished campaign that enhances the donor experience.

A Campaign Studio donation page is the easiest and fastest way to collect donations. You can share them directly with supporters via email appeals, social media, and through materials at in-person events.

Studio's versatile drag-and-drop features let you quickly design your page's layout and choose from a variety of elements such as buttons, images, and even custom code. You can also integrate essential widgets like a donation form or FAQ exactly where you need them.

To create a campaign using Studio:

  1. In the menu, select Campaigns
  2. Select Create new campaign
  3. Choose Direct giving, select Next, and then select Donation page

Then, build your campaign quickly by choosing from one of our pre-built templates. Or, select Start from scratch to begin with a blank campaign.

Note: If you decide to use a template, you'll still be able to customize your campaign in the builder.

Templates

Pick from a library of templates to quickly start your campaign based on your specific use case. Each template's design and features are tailored to support your main need.

For example, the Monthly Giving template contains recurring-first donation settings and impact tiles with monthly frequencies. But the Emergency Relief template features a strong call-to-action and encourages social sharing.

Check out our guide for help choosing the right template.

Design your donation page

As you build your campaign, the Studio designer has three parts: navigation menu, canvas, and editor.

The navigation menu appears at the top of the page, and it includes:

  • Settings
  • Pages
  • Emails
  • Preview
  • Save and Publish/Update

Select Settings, Pages, and Emails to customize each part of your campaign.

When ready, you can preview the pages, save your work, and publish your campaign before sharing it with your community.

Edit in mobile views

Select the desktop icon in the navigation menu to edit in desktop, tablet, or mobile views.

Changes made in desktop view will impact your other views. But in mobile view, you can rearrange or hide sections to deliver the best mobile experience without impacting the desktop view.

Note: You can match the mobile view to the desktop view at any time by selecting the reset arrow at the top of the mobile view page.

When editing titles or headings on the page, you can also apply different sizes or alignments for mobile view by selecting the mobile settings button.

Save and publish vs. update

Studio breaks saving and publishing into two separate actions. When you Publish a campaign, that campaign is made available on the web.

You can also Save a campaign at any time without immediately pushing changes to the published campaign. This lets your team tinker with a campaign without immediately affecting the supporter experience.

Saved changes will only appear on the Published version of the campaign after you select Update.

Pages

Pages provide the canvas and editor to preview, build, and design your campaign. To switch to a different page, select the Pages tab and choose the page you want to edit.

Canvas

The canvas previews the supporter-facing page. You can select blocks, drag-and-drop them to move them around and edit the content directly on the page.

Editor

You’ll use the editor to add new content to the page and make changes to certain elements and widgets.

Select a block in the canvas and the editor will update to show your tools and options.

FAQs

Will Campaign Studio replace the current campaign builder and pages?

Studio will eventually be GoFundMe Pro's only campaign-building experience. However, for now, you can continue creating and launching campaigns in our legacy experience.

Does Studio have all the same features as other donation pages?

Studio campaigns have many of the same features and more, including flexible layouts, faster page load speeds, SEO optimization, and URL redirects.

Can I process donations in a foreign currency on Studio pages?

Currently, donations made through a Studio form will only transact in US dollars. However, donation amounts on the form can be displayed in any currency using multi-currency support.

I can’t see my layout’s background image or color; why not?

One of the sections on top of the layout is likely blocking the layout. Select the section(s) on top of the layout and adjust the opacity to see if the section is blocking your layout.

Can I see what the Thank You page will look like for my donors?

Yes, you can preview the page by selecting Preview in the top menu bar and then Thank You page.
