Publish your campaign
To publish a campaign:
- In GoFundme Pro, select Campaigns
- Select the campaign you want to publish
- Select Edit Campaign
- Select Publish
Anyone can access your campaign via the link after you publish it. We recommend linking it to your website and promoting it with your supporters.
Once you’ve gathered donations or registrations, you can view the Supporters, Attendees, and Transaction History pages to track your progress.
Scheduled publish
Note: Scheduled publish is only available in Studio campaigns.
You can schedule when to publish your campaign if you need to launch it on a specific day. In your Studio campaign, select Publish, then Schedule publish to choose a date and time in your local time zone. If you keep editing your campaign, any saved changes before the scheduled time will be included in the publish.
When a schedule is set, an icon will appear next to the publish button. Select the schedule icon to review the details, cancel the scheduled publish, or reschedule. Or you can always select Publish now if you don't want to wait for the scheduled date.
When you return to the campaign builder after the scheduled publish has run, a notification will confirm the date and time the campaign went live.
Tip: After your campaign is published, you can schedule updates the same way to push changes on a specific day.
Why can't I publish my campaign?
If you can’t publish a campaign, ensure you have first:
You need a payment processor and a payment method to accept donations online, so they’re essential to your fundraising.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you can publish a campaign and accept donations.
Publish with confidence
Here’s how you can confidently roll out your campaign:
- Remember, you can still edit your campaign after it’s published. Your donors won’t know about your campaign until you share the campaign’s URL publicly.
- Test your campaign experience on desktop and mobile. Review the donation flow on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices to create a donor experience that works for all devices.
- Set a clear launch date for your campaign. We recommend launching your new campaign as soon as possible. Having a launch date to work toward will generate excitement for your team and help you confidently publish.
Unpublish a campaign
To unpublish a campaign, just repeat these steps and select Unpublish instead.
When you unpublish a campaign, it remains in your list of campaigns, but its pages are no longer accessible to the public. Any active recurring donations will continue to process as usual.
