Edit legacy donation page settings

Your donation page settings control features such as the ability for supporters to leave comments or anonymous donations. To access them:

1. Access the campaign you want to edit
2. Select the Details tab
3. Select Donation Page

Comment with donation

Allow supporters to leave a public comment when they donate. The comments display on campaign activity feeds. 

Anonymous donation

Allow supporters to donate anonymously. When supporters donate anonymously, their name will not display publicly. Their identity will only be visible to you in your GoFundMe Pro reports.

Hide donation amount

Allow supporters to hide their donation amount. When supporters select this option, their donation amount will not display publicly. The amount will only be visible to you in your GoFundMe Pro reports.

Contact opt-in checkbox

Supporters can choose whether they want to receive communications from your organization. Note that if someone opts out, your organization is responsible for adjusting your communications. To see if a donor has opted out:

1. Navigate to the Supporters page in your account
2. Add a column with the opt-in/out information
3. Remove the supporters who opted-out from your email list or email tool

Donor covered fees

Give supporters the option to cover a portion of your transaction fees. You can turn the feature on or off, mark fees covered by default, add on an additional percentage (up to 5%), and edit the appeal text to explain the benefit of covering fees. Learn more about Donor covered fees.
