Duplicate a campaign

Before you start

You cannot duplicate a legacy donation page or crowdfunding campaign. Instead, check out how to transfer your campaign to a Campaign Studio donation page.

You can duplicate campaigns in GoFundMe Pro by going to your campaign and selecting the Duplicate icon. A duplicate campaign will copy over:

  • Design assets (hero images, logos, and more)
  • Email assets (any custom emails, global email themes, and more)
  • Most campaign details (donation page settings, custom questions, and more)
  • Ticket and registration types (if you duplicate an event you will need to update availability dates)

Tip: Be sure to manually update specific information like the dates within emails or availability dates of your tickets and registrations.

A duplicate campaign will not copy over:

  • Donations
  • Fundraising pages
  • Attendees
  • Promo codes (this only applies to event campaigns)
  • Dedication eCards

Since duplicates are new campaigns, they have new web addresses. Make sure you use the new URLs when sharing the campaign in emails, social media posts, or other messages.

To duplicate a GoFundMe Pro campaign:

  1. In GoFundMe Pro, select Campaigns
  2. Search for and select the campaign
  3. Next to Edit campaign, select the Duplicate icon

Then, fill out the form that appears to duplicate the campaign. After the campaign is created, you can find it in Campaigns in your GoFundMe Pro account.
