Edit donation receipt emails

Each campaign on GoFundMe Pro has an Email Dashboard where you can view, customize, and send messages to your supporters.

We recommend that you customize your donation receipt email for your campaign to help express gratitude and foster a relationship with your supporters.

To edit your campaign’s donation receipts:

  1. In GoFundMe Pro, go to your campaign’s editor
  2. Select the Email tab
  3. Choose your donation receipt email

Your email builder may look a little different depending on the campaign type. In any case, we recommend confirming the From name and Reply to address so supporters know who to contact with questions and customizing the email’s content.

Note: Your recurring donation receipts are separate from one-time donations. Return to the campaign’s Email tab to edit your recurring donation receipt email.

Edit the PDF receipt

A PDF receipt is attached to donation receipt emails by default. It provides detailed information about the donation, including your organization name, amount, and date. You can edit specific parts of the PDF receipt, including:

  • Receipt logo and contact information
  • Tax deductibility language

Review the email

Finally, review the email, save your changes, and send yourself a test to ensure everything appears as expected.
