Enhancements
- GoFundMe Pro now provides brief guidance prompts during campaign setup when certain configuration choices may influence overall performance. Admins maintain full control over campaign settings, with support to inform configuration decisions. These prompts may appear when adjusting elements such as:
- Intelligent Ask Amount
- Activity Feed
- Progress Metrics
- Custom questions
- Studio templates now have a Giving Season filter to help guide users to the most relevant templates, reducing friction.
FRS
Enhancements
- Removed the "Fundraising end date" field from the FRS peer-to-peer creation flow to reduce friction. This field will no longer appear in the fundraiser creation flow.
- Returning team captains will now be able to see a list of their past teammates from the 'Teammates' tab of their fundraiser. Captains will be able to copy or export their contact information, making it easy to re-engage past teammates.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the "Copy link" button in the FRS Share sheet did not copy the link for supporters using Safari
- Fixed an issue where the 'Thank Your Donors' list in the fundraiser Manage view did not display the complete donor list
- Fixed an issue where images uploaded through the 'Design' tab of a fundraiser were not converted to webp format
- Fixed an issue where Liberia did not appear on the dropdown list of available billing countries when checking out from an FRS donation page
- Fixed an issue where the campaign progress bar did not update to reflect the change in total fundraising amount after a fundraiser team is transferred to a different campaign
- Fixed an issue where admins were redirected to a different page when attempting to preview the 'Thank You' page from the FRS campaign editor

Enhancements
- Reinstated “GoFundMe source” columns and filters in Transaction History report so users can segment reporting by traffic and source channels again.
Bug fixes
- Resolved an edge case where supporter opt-out in Pro Manager would not save if default messaging in 'Account Settings' for the opt-in checkbox was blank
- Resolved an issue where updates to a supporter’s phone number—whether made in the supporter center or by an admin—were not reflected in subsequent recurring giving plan transactions and receipts, which continued to display the original number
- Resolved an issue where unsuccessful recurring payments were being counted toward the “Total Raised” metric tile in Pro reports
- Resolved an issue where reprocessed recurring giving plan transactions failed to reflect an upgraded amount to the gift made after the initial recurring transaction
- Resolved issue where certain campaigns could not be accessed in Pro Manager due to a TypeError, preventing users from managing those campaigns
- Resolved UI issue where the “Create new API” button overlapped the pagination controls in 'Apps and Integrations'
- Resolved issue where supporter pages in Pro Manager intermittently showed “An unexpected error occurred” message to users trying to view or manage supporter details

- Meta social sharing integration is now available for FRS P2P campaigns! With this release:
- Admins can toggle Facebook and Instagram sharing on or off per campaign from P2P campaign settings
- When enabled on FRS P2P, mobile users can share campaign to Instagram
- Users can sharing to Facebook on desktop or mobile
- Fundraisers can now upload high-quality (>25MB) images to their fundraising pages on
Bug fixes
DAF Pay labeling: Fixed an issue where DAF Pay transactions were not correctly labeled in transaction reports or on the transaction details page.
Supporter reporting: Resolved a bug that caused some supporters not to appear in the Campaign Supporters report after a P2P team was transferred between campaigns and then returned.
Percent-to-Goal display: Corrected an issue that prevented the percent-to-goal metric from showing on crowdfunding pages.
Total Raised accuracy: Updated the FRS campaign overview so the “total raised” value now consistently reflects the current campaign total.
Fundraising end date: Fixed a problem where changes to a fundraising page’s end date were not saving after page refresh.
Event receipt emails: Restored missing city information in ticketed event receipt emails.
Templated campaign tickets: Fixed an issue where deleted tickets in templated campaigns continued to appear in the campaign editor.
P2P email merge tags: Corrected fundraiser name merge tags so emails now populate with the fundraiser’s actual first and last name.
Campaign templates: Resolved a bug where templates created from child campaigns resulted in missing email content in campaigns built from those templates.
GoFundMe P2P in Pro
Enhancements
- Activity tracking is now available for GoFundMe peer-to-peer (P2P) campaigns in GoFundMe Pro, starting with the Challenge P2P campaign type. This feature enables fundraisers to track their physical activity as part of their fundraising journey.
- Admin configuration in GoFundMe Pro includes:
- Activity type (run, walk, cycle, etc.)
- How it's measured (miles or kilometers)
- Optional goal
- Optional timeframe
- Fundraisers can track their activity:
- Manually within GoFundMe
- Automatically via a connected Strava account
- Cumulative progress towards the goal is shown to supporters on the fundraiser page itself to encourage donations and engagement

Enhancements
- Studio receipts for Canadian organizations are now fully CRA-compliant and use the same sequential numbering (OID/CSN) as FRS receipts to ensure legal continuity and donor trust.

Attendee check-in: Fixed an issue where attendee check-in statuses did not display consistently between the mobile app and web.
Attendee filters: Resolved a performance issue that caused the Attendee view to time out when filters were applied to events with a large number of attendees.
Auction item management: Corrected a bug that prevented auction items with deleted bids from being removed or deleted from an event.
Invoices and balances: Fixed an inconsistency where the amount owed displayed differently between the View Invoice and Pay Balance screens when a refund had been issued.

Recurring giving transactions: Fixed an issue that prevented some admins from accessing transaction records tied to recurring giving plans.
Meta sharing access: Resolved a bug where Meta Sharing incorrectly appeared as a “Premium Feature” and was inaccessible. All organizations once again have full access to Meta Sharing.
Admin welcome email: Corrected an issue that caused the Welcome to GoFundMe email not to send to new admins after creating a new organization.
Fundraising page name: Fixed an issue where the Fundraising Page Name field returned incorrect values.
Recurring plan pause/resume: Updated the admin experience for resuming recurring giving plans so it now mirrors the supporter experience—admins must resume a plan before adjusting the next transaction date.
Advanced filters: Fixed a problem where using the Any or Or conditions in Advanced Filters could return incorrect results.

Enhancements
- Intelligent Ask Amounts (IAA) are now available on FRS peer-to-peer, registration with fundraising, and crowdfunding campaigns, allowing organizations to personalize ask amounts on additional campaign types.
- IAA, when enabled, will be presented on the "Add a donation" step for registration with fundraising checkout
- Admins can toggle IAA on or off, and configure for monthly one-time donations
- IAA will default to "on" for new campaigns, and can be toggled on for existing campaigns
- The GoFundMe Pro API can now be used to transfer fundraising teams between peer-to-peer campaigns more easily.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where sharing a fundraising team/page from the Manage view generated the incorrect share URL.
- Fixed an issue where the Donor Covered Fee did not take promo codes into account in the Ticketing checkout flow.
- Fixed an issue where some supporters received an error when attempting to use a valid promo code in checkout.
- Fixed an issue where Fundraising Pages or Teams would not load when the data was unavailable in Search or Search failed.
- Fixed an issue where custom questions edited on a campaign created from a template were overwritten when the template was updated. Editing the custom questions at the campaign level now detaches this campaign section from the template to prevent data from being overwritten.
- Fixed an issue where the currency dropdown did not appear correctly on the RwF setup page.
- Fixed an issue where the calculated fee on top amount would not consistently update if the donor changed their donor amount.

- Fixed an issue where address fields appeared in the Attendee view when the fields are deactivated in the campaign.
- Fixed an issue where different attendees were assigned to the same user.
- Fixed an issue where attendees added via an offline transaction were not removed from an event when the transaction was deleted.
- Fixed an issue where attendees without bidder numbers were filtered incorrectly when using bulk close of balances.
- Fixed an issue where the thermometer event display did not update when a transaction was transferred or refunded.
- Fixed an issue where credit card payments would fail if an auction item was previously paid for and then refunded.
- Fixed an issue where some attendees were unable to pay their invoices with a credit card when using the emailed invoice link.
- Fixed an issue where attendees associated with a offline transaction that was deleted and then restored did not appear in all of the Attendee views.

- We are making a few updates to templates based on new learnings. Please note, the below changes will only apply to newly created campaigns from the revised templates:
- Impact tiles have been removed to prevent conflicting CTAs
- An activity feed and progress metrics have been added to increase engagements
Bug fixes
- Resolved an issue preventing reprocessing of Recurring Gift Plans (RGPs) in a failing status. Campaign admins can now successfully reprocess failing RGPs through both the UI and API, restoring expected functionality for all affected organizations.
- Fixed an issue where supporters received multiple “Recurring Plan Updated” emails after an admin re-activated a canceled recurring plan. The system now correctly mirrors legacy campaign logic—sending only the intended notifications for each status change, ensuring donors receive no duplicate or unnecessary emails.

Enhancements
- Fundraisers can now generate, share, and print QR codes for their fundraising pages.
- Sharing is easier than ever: fundraisers can tap to share via Facebook, X, email, or text (mobile only). The Share icons are now consistent across desktop and mobile.
- Fundraisers no longer need to set an “end date” when creating a campaign.
- Deleted fundraising teams will no longer appear in an organization's GoFundMe Pro Manager activity feed.

- Corrected an issue where the fundraiser’s postal code in reports was being pulled from the donor record.
- Fixed an error preventing newly registered GoFundMe Pro users from loading their public fundraiser page.
- Fixed an issue where invalid promo codes could still be added to tickets even though no discount applied.

- Organizers can now choose to display the donation amount alongside each supporter’s name during an event. Anonymous donors can also be included, helping all donors feel recognized in real time.

- Fixed an issue where address fields were appearing in the Attendee view even when disabled.
- Fixed an issue preventing additional filters from being saved in the Attendee view if one filter was already active.

Enhancements
- Major release: Admins can now manage their claimed and verified GoFundMe nonprofit page directly from GoFundMe Pro.
- Real-time progress bars are now available on legacy campaign types.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where chargeback-related transactions were missing from payout reports and incorrectly displayed a $15 dispute fee instead of $4.
- Resolved an error preventing Campaign Viewer admins from accessing attendee and campaign records for their authorized campaigns.
- Fixed an issue where admins with the “Data Exporter” org role and a “Viewer” campaign role could not view transaction details for their assigned campaigns.

- Fixed an issue where sending a test email from the Builder or Preview page resulted in an error, so campaign admins can now successfully send test emails

- Fixed an issue that prevented admins from saving or re-editing the email “Primary Color” in 'Emails' > 'Settings & Themes' on new or duplicated campaigns. Selected colors now save correctly, update previews and emails, and remain editable at any time.
- Fixed a layout issue on small screens where “Save as a Draft” wrapped to two lines and forced the adjacent “Publish” button to stretch vertically. Both buttons now remain single-line, keep their original heights, and stay horizontally aligned across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Resolved an issue where all Salesforce integration customers were receiving unintended
activityLogevent messages. - Resolved a UI overlap in the Studio Builder side panel where bottom padding collided with the border shadow.

Intelligent Ask Amounts 2.0 (7/22/2025)
Intelligent Ask Amounts now allows organizations to optimize for their goals. Here's what's new:
- Optimizations for recurring and conversion
- Estimated impact reporting: see the estimated impact of Intelligent Ask Amounts in the campaign builder and campaign insights.
- Customization settings: set a minimum ask amount, maximum ask amount, and/or specific ask amount that must appear on your form.
Studio templates beta
Launch optimized, high-performing campaigns in minutes with pre-built, use case-specific layouts tailored for their unique fundraising needs. With the launch of this beta program, six (6) templates will be available, including:

- Faster payouts for nonprofits with a switch from PayPal Giving Fund
- New wallet capabilities for supporters

- Fixed an issue where donations made with AMEX cards in digital wallets didn’t adjust for higher AMEX fees when DCF was enabled, causing the donation amount to be lower than intended.
- Fixed an issue on our legacy forms where IAA were not displaying on the donation page.
- Fixed an issue where an invalid designation_id in embedded campaigns would appear to succeed but skip key steps like sending a receipt or creating a transaction ID or recurring plan.

- Logo in post-conversion flows: logos set in ‘Theme’ settings will now appear in relevant post-conversion flows, ensuring a consistent brand experience for donors.
- Passthrough parameters for donor information: Support for passthrough parameters enables dynamic control over form settings (like pre-filling donor details) making it easier to tailor donation experiences for specific campaigns.

We're excited to launch Embedded Studio to help nonprofits improve supporter engagement directly on their website:
- Added an Abandoned Cart Nudge option to prompt donors to continue with their donation if they exit the Embedded checkout flow.
- Implemented passthrough parameters for donor information in the Nudge Tray to passed pre-fill previously provided donor information in the donation form.
- Wordpress Plugin | Nonprofit Donation Forms: We launched our zero-code way to install Embedded Studio on Wordpress sites.
- Add a direct link to the embedded form that can be copied and shared from the Embedded thank you page.

Annual Summary Reports
Annual Summary Reports (ASRs) for 2024 are available in Classy Manager. Here's whats new:
- Audience segmentation: Send donation summaries to one-time donors only, recurring donors only, or both one-time and recurring donors.
- Customizable emails: Add text and image content to your ASRs for more thoughtful donor stewardship that connects donations to impact and modify the tax deductibility language as needed.
- Self-serve donor requests (coming soon): Starting in early February, supporters will be able to log in and request their ASR directly from the Supporter Center.
