Sticky donate button FAQs
Before you start
The sticky donate button is only available on Studio donation pages.
The sticky donate button “sticks” to the bottom of desktop and mobile screens as donors scroll through your campaign page. This way, the donate button stays in sight, and it’s easier for your donors to follow through with their gift.
Below are some common questions that come up with the sticky donate button.
Why is the button not appearing on the page?
The sticky donate button will only appear on a donation page when:
- The main donation form is not in view on the page
- There is only one donation form on the page: The sticky donate button doesn’t work on donation pages with multiple donation forms or when using impact tiles
Why is the button not going to the checkout page?
The donate button will go to the checkout page when a donor manually selects an amount. If an amount is automatically pre-selected or is not selected, the button takes the donor to the donation form on the page to select an amount and frequency.
Can I customize the text of the button?
No, the button will only display “Donate” and cannot be customized. If a different frequency is selected by the donor, then the button will also show the frequency (for example, “Donate monthly”).
