Facebook Pixel
Gather your information
At this time, only the GoFundMe Pro team can add Facebook Pixels to campaign pages. We are happy to do it for you and only need 2 key pieces of information: Your Pixel ID and the URL(s) of the campaign(s) you want to add your pixel to.
Pixel ID
- To find your Pixel ID, go to the pixels tab in your Facebook event manager
- Copy your Pixel ID
Campaign URL
- Copy your campaign URL(s)
- You do not need the URL for all of the pages within a campaign (e.g. landing page, donation page, etc.)—one will do great!
- If you need help finding your URL, feel free to view our guide.
Contact GoFundMe Pro Care
Once you have your information, send a message to our Care Team.
Include the Pixel ID and campaign URL(s) in your message, and we'll add the pixel to your campaign. You can also ask us to automatically apply your pixel to the future campaigns you create. If you ever want to remove your Pixel, please send us another message.
Track data through Facebook
Please note that the data from your Facebook Pixel will not appear in GoFundMe Pro—it is located in the pixels tab of your Facebook event manager. Since the data is located on Facebook instead of GoFundMe Pro, any questions about the data will be outside the scope of support from our Care Team. That said, we recommend visiting Facebook's guide if you have any questions.

How to verify the setup
We recommend testing in an incognito or private window with Ad blockers turned off. GoFundMe Pro also refreshes pages quickly, so we recommend using the Chrome DevTools Network panel to verify pixel events:
- Open the Chrome DevTools and select the Network tab
- Make sure the Record network log button is red (this is the header of the DevTools)
- Complete an action in GoFundMe Pro[ that you expect to trigger an event (Example: complete a transaction)
- Once you've triggered the event, type the event you want to track in the Filter text box (Example: "purchase")
- Select a request and ensure there is one with the status 200 and the event name you searched for
