Resend yourself a receipt

GoFundMe Pro automatically sends you a donation receipt to the email we have on file, but you can always resend yourself a receipt in your Supporter account. This is helpful if you need to itemize your deductions at the end of the tax year.

Open your supporter page

To resend a receipt, you'll first need to access your account. You can login using the same email address you entered when donating.

  1. Log in to your GoFundMe Pro account
  2. Select the organization you need a receipt from

View contribution history and resend receipts

To view all of your past contributions, select Contribution History in the menu. You can resend the receipt to the email address in your settings by selecting View Details on the contribution and then selecting Resend email receipt.

Select Settings in the menu to send your receipt to a different email. This will open your profile settings, where you can update your email. Once updated, return to the donation and resend the receipt.

Contact the organization directly if you're using the donation receipt for tax purposes and the tax deductibility language is omitted.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send myself an annual tax summary of all my donations?

Yes, you can send an annual tax summary to yourself if the organization you support has the option turned on. To send yourself an annual summary, go to Contribution history and select the button to download the summary.
