Add a payment method for an event

Some events will require you to have a payment method on file to participate in an auction. Once you add a card on file, you can place bids on silent auction items, purchase items, and submit donations to the organization you support. Use existing card
When you use a credit card to purchase a ticket to an event, select the option to save that card for donations and purchases. This will store your card so you don't have to add it again as a payment method.
Note: The card will only be saved as a payment method if the purchaser's information matches the First Name, Last Name, and Email of only one attendee. The card will not be stored if you purchase tickets for other attendees or if you use your information for multiple attendees.
Add payment method
To enter your payment method, you'll first need to access your event via the email sent by the organization you support or with the email address used at registration.
- Access your event's page
- In the navigation menu, select Cart
- Under Payment Methods, select + Add Payment Method
- Enter your information and select Add Payment Method

Is my payment information secure?
Yes, Live Events integrates with Stripe to handle all payment information. Stripe and GoFundMe Pro Live Events' integration is certified PCI Service Providers Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payment industry. Find out more about Stripe's security.
Can multiple attendees share the same payment method?
Yes, multiple attendees can have the same credit card on file. However, each attendee will need to enter it separately.
Can I remove a payment method?
Yes, an option to remove a payment method will appear after you add an additional payment method.
Can I bid anonymously?
Yes! When adding a payment method, select Make my donations and bidding anonymous to hide your name from all bids and public pages.
